California Retirement Advisors retained Shout Out LLC’s services in 2013 in search of a way to connect with area certified public accountants (CPA) within the El Segundo, California area.
Shout Out LLC developed “Tax Season Survival Kits”, which were hand delivered by employees to targeted area CPAs two weeks prior to the April 15th tax deadline. Contained within each kit were items intended to assist recipients in “surviving” the remainder of tax season. Items included a bottle of wine, Starbucks Instant VIA coffee, Godiva chocolates, energy drinks, and protein bars. In addition, the key item within each kit was a medical-grade first aid kit, which contained items such as Advil, Tylenol, Visine, mouthwash, gum, lotion, and more. It was the intent that CPAs would keep the medical-grade first aid kit for future use as they saw fit.
California Retirement Advisors staff followed up with each CPA in mid-May and formed a number of referral relationships for future business.
